Dear guys,
My flight got cancelled due to snow. So we will be a day late when my mom and I finally arrive in DC. Upside: I don't have to deal with snow, fuck snow.
Still though, I'd have liked to have spent a day in a place where they speak English all pretty instead of getting routed through Munich and having to hear that miserable, uninspiring, homogenized DC accent as my first re-exposure to the English language.

P.S. also I am annoyed because I look all pretty today and now I don't get to look pretty tomorrow because my pretty clothes will be dirty and in my suitcase, fuck you London

Today has been a spectacularly awful day already and it's only quarter after 9! I see this as today's one real accomplishment. I am tired, I lost my cell phone (dropped it on the bus; I know this in my gut), and now I am so angry about having lost my phone that I cannot focus on cramming for a Classics test I have in 3 hours. Why do I care about Athens? Or Sparta?
Hint: I don't.
