Tom:
I had a dream in which the day came when troupes of actors were slaughtered by their understudies, magicians sawn in half by indefatigably smiling glamour girls, cricket teams wiped out by marauding bands of twelfth men and an army of assistants and deputies, the seconds-in-command, the runners up, the right-hand men stormed palace gates rising above their superiors or supposed betters to show that they do in fact count.

Snow!  Well, what the Met Office calls "a serious adverse weather event".  In fact it's only an inch or two, and still falling - but it's quite pretty.  My office has a window, so I'm watching it now.

My bike's brake cable must be damp, because it froze up on the way to work.  Oops.  And the lock was frozen when I got there, so I haven't been able to lock the bike up either.

Gemmwah:
I can't cycle to work because it's too deep now and I'll die, and I think the buses have stopped running. God damn.

MadassAlex:
Dear blog thread,

Two nights ago, I was at a party. I talked to this one girl about the Joe Satriani/Coldplay situation, saying that I had to side with Joe Satriani, since guitarists have to stick together against the BIG BAD WORLD.

She then informed me that Coldplay have a guitarist.

This had never occurred to me before.

This is awesome, I actually wrote it down in one of my sketchbooks I liked it so much.
