ViolentDove:
 :-(

It does just mean that your cat loves you, though.

Metope:
Oh god that reminds me of when my cat brought me a cute little wounded bird and my mom told me to break it's neck to end it's suffering.

A dead baby bunny.

Why am I reminded, oh so joyously, of Lie Bot?

So ok, my name (Ben) is historically the short form of Benjamin ("son of the south" / "son of the right hand"), Benaiah ("Yahweh has built"), Benedict ("blessed") and many Germanic names starting with "bern" (bear) such as Bernard (combined with the suffix "hard" for "brave, hardy").  I have a feeling that by itself the closest correlation is to the Arabic "Bin", which I believe is simply "son of" (anyone know for sure?)

Man, I wish I knew all these alternate names when I was a kid and teachers were calling me "Benjamin."  Would have been nice to say my name is actually short for Benedykt, the Polish form of Benedict, or that it was short for Bernat, the Hungarian form of Bernard, or perhaps Benaiah, and is she perhaps being anti-semitic against me assuming I had such a common English name (I know Benjamin has Hebrew roots, but hopefully he/she wouldn't).  I know that sounds like I would be being a shit-heel but god damn, you should have seen how some of these asshole teachers spoke to me like I was an idiot for supposedly not knowing my own name.

Zingoleb:
The name is Edward. Means 'rich guard'. Hahahahahaha.

Blaggy,

I go back to work tomorrow and will try not to murder anyone.

Spent today doing yard work and having a generally good day but then people started talking to me and it made me want to punch them in the face because I rather like my thoughts unspoiled, thankyouplease.

Tearing out rose bushes bare-handed is not fun.
