I have an assignment due by 11pm today that I have kinda started, and am still dithering over how to write stuff. It is not going well, and will probably be submitted a day late. Then I have to study for an exam on the 11th, and I swear I know nothing about the course (though I actually do know at least a bit) and am sure I'm gonna fail it. Then I have an essay to write by the 18th for a course I really don't like so it will probably be done the day before it is due as well, and I don't want to hand that one in late because it is due the day before my birthday. Ugh. I love uni, don't you?

My name (Norbert) translates to "Northern Brightness" or "Famous Northman" in old german. my name also reached its height in popularity in the US in the 1920s.
Common grade school nicknames were "Nerdbert", "Nerdbird", "Nerdface", and "Fuckface". But that changed once i got into high school (and had a growth spurt) and it was cool to be different.
I'm thinking of naming one of my boys Brutus.

I just...I'm very much a loner, you know? I really don't like being around other people that much, especially when my father starts just going on and on about absolutely nothing and I'd rather not hear it.
Oh, one other thing - I saw an old friend of mine today, who is finally away from her abusive ex. That is good news. He'll probably be in jail soon for some stupid shit he's been pulling.
