Discussion: Tokio Hotel
ImRonBurgundy?:
Actually, Justin Timberlake is better than Tokio Hotel, because he markets himself in a way that does not make him look disconcertingly like a wax statue brought to life.
Actual--if a bit narcissistic--human being.
Horrible monstrous cretins.
JD:
Are they the German equivalent of the Jonas Brothers?
Dunnoe:
they're older (all around 20s). I have never listened to jonas brothers songs. I hear jonas brothers are also pretty bad, but because I've never listen to one of their songs, I cannot be certain.

My good friend, I come from the land of mainstream search "Dunnoe" here. As you can see, I don't have much of a start in indie-anything, which is why I have appeared here and adopted the username "Dunnoe". I hope that with your guidance, I will learn to dabble in the indie artists and find something new. If you wish to continue this convo PM me.
Wait, so does this mean we can't talk about mainstream bands/artists/singers? We have to talk about indie bands?
back to Tokio Hotel...
I think their lyrics are pretty angsty, but I listen in for their energy. Hopefully they'll grow up, or will receive teh philosophical teachings from some philosophical dude, or Marilyn Manson (THAT would be hilarious to watch).
--- Quote from: negative creep ---I really wish some of the truly amazing bands (which we have in Germany!) would get the attention Tokio Hotel is recieving.

No one's saying you can't talk about mainstream music on this forum (I think it would get really retarded if that were the case), just that Tokio Hotel blows. There is a difference between the two statements.
