Guilty Pleasures

sean:
a guilty pleasure seems like a ridiculous concept to me. if you think a band is good why the hell should you feel guilty about it? for example, i think welcome home by coheed & whatever is a pretty reasonable song. and i have no problems with this. if you feel guilty about liking something then it sounds like in a way you really dont like it and you are listening to it for some strange reason.

One word.

XANADU.

Rush is maybe a bit too distateful to admit, man.

Well, on the one hand I agree with you because I feel no guilt about anything I listen to. On the other hand, there's a difference between liking something and thinking it's good. I listen to plenty of music which I consider to be fucking terrible. Still like it, though.

Is there anybody else who thinks of Dave, Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich when they see Xanadu? I never think of Rush somehow.
