look out! Ninjas!:
I won a cricket bat signed by the state team when I was in Primary School. Was at a game and the free program had a little competition on the back, so naturally I grabbed like a million of them. Other than that, nothing.

clockworkjames:
I won mousemats and shit for playing Counter strike, also money and stuff for playing other games and trophies and stuff also from playing video games and teeshirts and stuff but that is about it. Most used is the mousemat as it's a razer mantis control that lives under my mantis speed.

I like winning money though.

Metope:
When I was ten, I came second in a competition where the first price was a trip to Disneyland in Paris. I was supposed to colour a drawing of Pochahontas, but my mom convinced me doing something extra and more creative would pay out, so I drew some animals and plants, cut out elements of the drawing and glued it on cardboard to get some sort of 3D-effect. The reason I came second was because my mom cut out some of the elements for me (understandably, she wouldn't let her ten year old kid use a scalpel). Second prize was a stuffed animal that I still have somewhere.

My mom had won the whole family a trip to the states with a trip to Disneyworld and a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas included a couple of years earlier, so I guess Disneyland in Paris would have been a bummer compared to that anyway.

Edit: There is more! How could I forget this? A few months ago I got a letter in the mail saying that a package was waiting for me at the post office. I had no idea what it could be, because it was neither my birthday nor Christmas, and I hadn't purchased anything off the internet in a while. I went to get my package and opened it, and inside was my Pochahontas drawing and a letter from the lady who had been in charge of the competition where she explained that the company she worked for was moving, and they could bring the drawing with them. She didn't have the heart to throw it away, so she found my address and sendt it back to me instead. The whole thing was very touching, and I still can't believe they kept my drawing for ten whole years.

When I was about 8 or 9, I went to a theme park that had it's own zoo. They had one of those competitions on where you write in x many words or less for one thing or the other, and this one was to be a zoo keeper for a day. My mum grabbed me a leaflet, and she made me fill it out and send it off. I can't remember what I wrote, but it must have been pretty good, because a few weeks later, I got a letter back saying i'd won, and to tell them when I could come down to take part.

I got to do some really crappy jobs, like mucking out the horses, but I also got to feed penguins and sea lions and other cool animals like that. When i'd finished, I got to go on the rides too. It was all free! I fed penguins and got to ride on rollercoasters for free!

evernew:
At our graduation ceremony raffle, I won a Blackberry.
