You got stuff at your graduation ceremony?  All I got was a diploma holder (no real diploma, they hold those hostage until you finish the ceremony without nudity or pyrotechnics) and many tears, because the School Superintendent gave me a hug and told me I was one of his favorites in his awesome Chi-town accent.

Well, it was a raffle. Other things raffled off were a golf weekend, a spa weekend, more Blackberries, designer lamps etc.
It was one of the fundraising initiatives for the whole ordeal.

Everybody wanted to trade their raffle wins with mine but NO DICE. Blackberry was mine.

I've won two things that stand out; I have insanely good luck, so if there's a random contest or something, I usually find myself with something to show for it.

The first that I remember was a pair of Columbus Destroyer's (Arena Football) tickets for giving the best Irish toast at a St. Patty's Day thing a radio station was doing. The votes were by audience cheers and I had a really noisy friend with me. I ended up not going to the game in favor of playing D&D, I think. (Life: I was doing it wrong).

The second was just a couple of months ago. The wife and I had enrolled in some kind of rewards program with our ban where the bank would track all debit/credit card purchases nationwide and every 500th purchase that happened, the bank would reimburse the purchaser. We got a $100 purchase reimbursed. We went out to dinner at a nice Italian place to celebrate.

When I was younger I won a kids competition at a Marine Lab open day, got the entire set of the Blue Planet T.V series. I was pretty stoked.

Gemmwah:
A couple years ago I won a signed box set of both seasons of Sugar Rush, which is badass because I absolutely love that show. I've also been dancing since forever so I have loads of competition trophies and medals and stuff.

This isn't all of them. A lot of competition trophies and shields have to be returned after a year, so you get them engraved and then give them back. Also I can't find the rest of my medals so that's just what I could lay my hands on in 30 seconds.
