How sad is it watching these last couple shows? Conan was practically a stand-in parent in my house growing up, so basically I vomit on Jay Leno's future and hope his return to Late Night tanks.

OK so I'm not sure why going to Fox is an unequivocally bad thing. Can someone explain that to me?
I understand that other talk shows they have had have been dismal failures but it's not like Conan isn't a proven entity. Unless he ended up having to acquiesce to an awful lot of network interference -which I can't particularly see happening considering the fact that his is a pretty lucrative personal brand and him & his team obviously know how to handle themselves, given that they just made filthy amounts of money out of getting the boot from NBC- there's no reason a new Conan show (whatever form that happens to take) couldn't succeed anywhere.

The dude just walked away from the Tonight Show out of principle. Do you really think he would do a show butchered by network execs?
