Why?

Robertson head screws are better known as square head screws.  They simply allow the driver bit to grip it better.  I strip phillips and flat heads all the time, never had a problem with square heads though.  But like I said, unfortunately they don't make em in the US.

maddness:

--- Quote from: Deacon on 06 Mar 2009, 08:54 ---OK, seriously, can I please have someone explain to me how someone who is not in a relationship can be so angry and hurt when a known slut  they're ashamedly sleeping with ends up having drunk sex with one other person on one occasion?

--- End quote ---

She's hurt because she got emotionally attached. She's angry, not just angry at him, but at herself as well. She went into this knowing his history and thinking that knowing it would help her keep a certain distance. Unfortunately she did start to feel more for him than she meant to. That's why she told him that if he slept with someone else, they were done. He knew that and chose to do it anyway. So she's angry at him for choosing to sleep with someone else and she's angry at herself for caring enough to be hurt by it.

--- Quote ---This assertion that "Sven's behavior is certainly unreasonable and immature" is baffling to me. Rather, it's the reactions of Faye and Dora and company that seem unreasonable and immature. Or did I just somehow miss the comic where Sven and Faye decided to go monogamous?

--- End quote ---

The unreasonable and irrational part comes in where he blames his intern for the consequences of his actions.

Border Reiver:
Alright, my answers have been stolen, or at least already given.

And you should speak to your local harware store to get robertson's.  I'm certain that there are Cdn manufacturers willing to export into the US - or maybe you could persuade a US manufacturer of the superiourity of the Cdn system.

The Joker:

--- Quote from: Fenriswolf on 05 Mar 2009, 22:46 ---Oh, other people commented on Sven... sorry for redundancy. Still, there was more to my rant yes?  :police:

--- End quote ---

Yeah...as long as you're apologizing for redundancy, double-posting kind of completely undermines it.

Is it cold in here?:

Faye was in a relationship emotionally speaking, she just wasn't admitting it to herself. Self-delusion can lead to being angry and hurt.

Even though Sven notified her explicitly that they weren't monogamous, he'd apparently been that way for months (long enough for the season to change and for Dora's hair to grow out), and in 793 he had said that he was putting casual sex behind him. Self-delusion is easier when there's some evidence to support it.

I can see being angry and hurt when the other party in a non-relationship torpedoes it that casually. Sven knew that Faye had promised to end things if he slept around, which means that his action was the same as saying "By the way, what we've got is less important to me than a drunk one-night stand". That's an angering and hurtful thing to communicate.

We're seeing the confirmation of something Faye said earlier. When Dora suggested that she try casual sex, Faye said "I'm not that kind of girl". She really isn't, after all. She tried to do casual sex and got emotionally involved.
