Robertson head screws are much better than the Phillips

QFT, unfortunately they don't make 'em here in the States, and I always strip the damned Phillips head screws.

Deacon:
OK, seriously, can I please have someone explain to me how someone who is not in a relationship can be so angry and hurt when a known slut  they're ashamedly sleeping with ends up having drunk sex with one other person on one occasion?

Or is this just another instance of "It's a woman's prerogative to be irrational and crazy and for all her female friends to do the same."

This assertion that "Sven's behavior is certainly unreasonable and immature" is baffling to me. Rather, it's the reactions of Faye and Dora and company that seem unreasonable and immature. Or did I just somehow miss the comic where Sven and Faye decided to go monogamous?

And to continue the offtopic conversation regarding optimum screwing equipment...

Why?

moshimoshi_haihai:
what are these female prerogatives you speak of?

Deacon:
What? I'm talking about the fairly predominate attitude, reinforced by decades of sitcoms, that women can be as irrational and generally balls-out crazy as they want, and it's the man's duty to find some way to placate her, no matter how difficult or ridiculous or expensive. And if he fails in this task, then it's perfectly reasonable to expect that he be banned from sleeping in his own bed, being relegated instead to the couch.

moshimoshi_haihai:
well, i guess I would just appreciate it if you didn't just group all women together in this conclusion you've come to. Because, I am a woman and I actually agree with you:
Indeed, there is a particular type of woman who engages in the behavior you describe.

BUT I am also a woman who does not conform to such behavior. In fact, when my boyfriend and I squabble it's me on the couch. Just this Valentine's day I MADE him go on this weekend trip with his friends that they had planned instead of staying here with me, even though he insisted he stay here. They had planned the trip without realizing the dates of the weekend, an honest mistake. I didn't make him feel guilty, I don't plan on using it against him later like some sort of one-up, and I don't think it was unreasonable to any extent. I wanted him to go have fun and I still stand by that. Besides, Valentine's day is a fake holiday anyway. it upsets me that there are men out there who have been treated poorly by woman who constantly victimize themselves.

I'm letting you know that there is hope, that's all. I just don't appreciate your idea that because I'm a woman I must be "irrational" and "balls-out crazy"
