Yeah, why is this? Occasionally I'll wake up after a night of moderatly heavy drinking and feel great, go about my day like normal, eat normally, drink lots of water (1L/4hr, in a typical day, whether or not I was boozing) but come 2pm I'm in agony. It's what I've dubbed a "creeping hangover", in that it creeps up on you.

Alex C:
That is the exact opposite of my drinking experiences.

Also, I hold that Manda's hangovers must be more along the lines of mild sleep deprivation (alcohol can lower how much time you spend in REM sleep) rather than a true "I don't think my liver made it home last night" hangover.

I actually forgot to mention this. A hangover is both a badge of pride and a scarlet letter. Don't be afraid to get a good hangover because it is a good reminder of why you don't drink every night you don't have work the next day.

nobo:
you guys ever get the hangovers where even sunlight pisses you off? and you sleep on the bathroom floor cause the cold tile is the only thing in the house that doesn't piss you off?

Aztex:
I haven't really had wretching hangovers, but from my experience fresh fruit really helps you through, watermelon especially.
