raoullefere:
Soulsynger, ah. I don't know how to put this, but, okay: the only way Faye's going to get better is to get out of character. As for Angus being out of character, break-ups do sometimes show one where they went wrong.
Thanks, Celticgeek. I'd forgotten about that wretch Olsen, pusher for the old Columbian Cartel (caffeine instead of cocaine, and they lived in the U.S.) being in on things. I do remember the take-off on Airplane!, though: still perhaps the greatest film ever made. It helped form my rather bizarre sense of humor, paving the way for my Terry Pratchett mania. Mr. P owes ZAZ (Bros. Zucker + Mr. Abrahams) a debt, too, methinks.
And don't call me 'Shirly.'
Heranje:
I'm beginning to like the Faye-Angus dynamic, and I definitely could see them together, but I doubt it will happen right away - it's too soon after the whole Sven debacle. Like Faye said, she doesn't want a relationship just now.
Though of course, the Lord Jeph works in mysterious ways.
Border Reiver:
Rauolefrere you are so wrong - there are two movies tied for the honour of greatest movie of all time, and Airlplane! isn't one of them. The Blues Brothers, and The Dirty Dozen
Blayze:
The Blues Brothers is no more a candidate for the greatest movie of all time than I am for the position of Pope.
Milesb:
are we going to have a historical recreation of the pope wars in here?
All hail discordia!
(on topic..)
Faye is cute, but i'd be a bit put off if they develop in a relationship too quickly - most of the relationships in QC have had a reasonable-ish amount of foreshadowing. Their previous verbal sparring was rather impersonal i'd say, so I'm not really thinking it'd count as character development between the two...
