Hitch-Hiker:

--- Quote from: raoullefere on 26 Mar 2009, 22:45 ---Housemate, from offpanel: "Hmmmm...Angus never asks for a second cup at home!"

Any other geezers on here who survived the seventies remember that line (and assorted variations)? Damned if I can remember the brand of coffee it plugged.

So Faye's actually having, and apparently enjoying, a conversation with Angus, since time slipped away from her. Makes you go, well, you know.

--- Quote from: imonfire on 26 Mar 2009, 13:42 ---ooo Faye used a contraction, we all know that's like fourplay for her.  It's so going to happen.

--- End quote ---
I don't think that's true, but I do think it's a brilliant line.

--- End quote ---

Excellent Airplane reference.
I enjoyed todays comic very much. Nice to see Faye not reacting violently, although that was always funny

Shadic:

--- Quote from: akronnick on 26 Mar 2009, 21:14 ---(I'm not actually going to change anything, you'll just have to live with the fact that your vote was meaningless, pretend like you live in Florida)
--- End quote ---

But I actually voted correctly! And besides, we all know Florida fucks up everything and is only full of old people.

The Joker:

--- Quote from: Border Reiver on 27 Mar 2009, 05:35 ---Rauolefrere you are so wrong - there are two movies tied for the honour of greatest movie of all time, and Airlplane! isn't one of them.  The Blues Brothers, and The Dirty Dozen

--- End quote ---

I say Airplane! and the Dark Knight.

jk (sorta)

Is it cold in here?:

--- Quote from: Milesb on 27 Mar 2009, 06:22 --- most of the relationships in QC have had a reasonable-ish amount of foreshadowing. Their previous verbal sparring was rather impersonal i'd say, so I'm not really thinking it'd count as character development between the two...

--- End quote ---
It's debatable, but there are some things that might count as foreshadowing.

Faye calls Angus "hot" in 808, and in 1144 Angus is the first person Faye thinks of when Hannelore mentions "other boys".

Milesb:
true dat, he is her only potential love interest within the confines of the current characters..
