If he'd said something like "That sounds like a lot of fun, I might see you there," that wouldn't be creepy, but inviting himself along feels like a bid to specifically be part of FayeHanners/etc. group, as if he were one of their friends.  He's not creepy because he wants her, he's creepy because he's being pushy and refusing to take "no, I'm not interested" for an answer.  I've had the same thing happen, and guys like that are extremely annoying, especially when they stop just that bit short of going over the line, but consistently dance on the edge.  Yeah, he does seem to come across as wanting humiliation play, and getting turned on by her insulting him.

Kugai:
I think poor ol' Angus just lacks some real friends.  That and he's gone on Faye who, I think, is slowly warming to the guy.

Now, if Tai's at the Drunken Sled Party .......  :D
