I don't make these threads posts in the massive threads designed for that purpose because those threads are terrifying entrenched behemoths and also they make me feel like another homogenous internet boarder with feelings and opinions.
And I ain't going out like that

Guys, point is, before AG's other threads, every single thread was about 'man, i'm sad, i'm frustrated, i'm upset.' that or the pointless thread. The top of these boards were pretty much constantly dominated by about five threads, and if you don't post in these, then you're pretty much not part of the forums.
I am by no means one of the old forum members, but about a year ago, the front page of this sub forum was a lot more interesting to read. Maybe the move to the Discuss has slowed this down a lot. But the pointless thread has also leeched a lot of good discussion topics. Now when people see something fun they'll put it in the pointless thread, where it kinda gets lost amongst all the other stuff.
Yeah, having everything so centered and organized is neat, but it means that it's all a lot less personal.
