Why have you posted like, five pages of straight edge bullshit and crap metalcore and not like.

Discharge or GBH.

Come on guys.

Cause I don't like bands that dress up like Hot Topic shopping spree winners.

Punk is dead. Cry some more.

a pack of wolves:
Hold on, all the jokes about Hot Topic imply that it sells clothes for teenagers with swooshed hair and Throwdown CDs. You mean America actually has so many crusts there is an entire chain dedicated to selling patches and vegan boots? Weird, but good I suppose since Discharge's Realities Of War is one of the best 7"es of all time, it's just raw power. I also appreciated their love for John Heartfield.

Disfear are good but I wouldn't go ranking them as the greatest d-beat band since Discharge. Japan's Bastard on the other hand make a pretty good case that they should be at the top of the pile. One of the guys from the (really good) Devoid of Faith has their excellent discography No Hope In Here up on his blog: http://truepunkmetal.blogspot.com/2009/07/bastard-no-hope-in-here-199.html

sean:
Dude hot topic is used by scene kids not crusties.

Unless you brits have a different definition of crusties. Which i doubt cause scene kids don't give a shit about veganism.

a pack of wolves:
See, that's what I figured. Now I definitely don't get how Discharge can be dismissed as looking like they won a Hot Topic spree. Fair enough if someone doesn't like Discharge, but eh?
