Videogame boss you would not fuck with in real life.

Honestly. There is no way to beat some motherfuckers in Persona 3 without grinding.
Storm Rider:
Actually, the Persona games really discourage grinding, considering that the experience you receive scales depending on your level. This is especially true in 3, since you can only explore the sections of Tartarus that have opened up depending on your progress in the story. Don't get me wrong, there are still a few bosses in each game that are absolute motherfuckers, but it's more about figuring out the right strategy rather than just grinding out levels.
Nocturne, on the other hand, basically hates you and wants you to die horribly. Fuck you, Matador.

This thread totally inspired me to get System Shock 2 running on my new computer.
So multiplayer patched
Win XP fix patch.
Rebirth Modded
Opened cam.cfg from the Shock2 install directory using Notepad and added the line safe_texture_manager.
And now I can beat up the Many with a wrench on my new 'puter!!!
Ahh Shodan. I have missed your dulcet voice....God this is a good game.
Bastardous Bassist:
So, I tried to play the original System Shock, and couldn't figure out what to do. I just wandered around a space station killing things and collecting weapons. There never seemed to be a point to any of it, which I'm fully willing to admit was my own stupidity. Will I be okay on System Shock 2 if this is what I thought of the original?
Caleb:
System Shock 2 is very structured. You get told what to do for most of the game. Get X door opened so you can turn on elevator Y so you can go down to level Z and so on.
If you have ever played Bioshock it's pretty much like that. Except the controls aren't dumbed down for console gameplay.
