Your cuppa tea
wafflecone:
Yeah, I really prefer loose-leaf tea to tea bags... most specialty stores i've been to are hella expensive, though. Kinda want to buy like 40 tins of tea now....

This. Loose leaves in a clay teapot, the needles will stand on end to let you know that you understand what is good in life.
Inlander:
I was reading a lot of stuff about tea-bags on the first page of this thread. I don't understand why people use tea-bags. People! You don't have to make a whole pot of tea just because you're using loose-leaf (a.k.a. "real") tea! You just put a spoonful in a strainer, put the strainer over your cup, pour the water through the strainer (and the tea leaves). Makes a nice cuppa. You can even get different kinds of strainer that immerse the leaves in the tea to make a stronger cup!
Seriously, why on earth would anyone use tea-bags?
Nodaisho:
Because nobody has a strainer, and most of the people that do don't know what it does, because it looks more like a medieval torture device. And because it is so much easier to find, and probably more hygienic to have out in a lobby, and because some people don't care about the subtle differences anyway.
E. Spaceman:
To be fair, not all treabags are nearly the same.
