Basically, it's a story about a fictional band that visits Northampton and runs into (most of) the QC cast. The catch is that the fictional band isn't "Indie" - they're a CCM band. (Think Switchfoot, but older - more like Petra.)

As I read this thread tonight, I thought of Jimmy Johnson's brief Peanuts arc. http://www.gocomics.com/arloandjanis/1997/10/13

I was just thinking the same thing. The newest comic shows Marigold reading some on fanfiction.net, so I looked. I was quite disappointed to find that it doesn't actually exist.

The write-up on FFDN on Wikipedia states that they were essentially forced to take R/NC-17 stuff down from their site, so...

Theoretically no, but one has to consider the likely motives for writing amateur fan-fiction.

I once wrote a completely original detective/adventure story set in Shanghai circa 1935 featuring a not at all self-insert plucky young orphan sampan-girl (let's call her 苏玛丽 or Su Mali...), and an American hero who bore no resemblance whatever to a well-known fedora-wearing archeologist. It would never have been written if I hadn't had a soft spot for a certain American actor, and not coincidently, it was very bad.

I would only read it if it were erotic.
