Wolfenstein
Aurjay:
I remember playing this and Doom as share ware back in the day. It was by far the craziest thing i had ever seen. 1st games i ever played was this Roadwar 2000 turn based strategy game and (sadly) the California Raisins game. So Wolfenstein and Doom made my life.

RtCW is definitely a highlight from 2001...I still have my copy of it, whereas typically I sell a game after I've completed it. I haven't checked out the new Wolfenstein yet, but it's on my list.

I do eventually want to get it, probably gonna be a bargain bin purchase.

Download Enemy Territory for free.
I think it still has a community and such.
Bastardous Bassist:
So, I just rented the new one, and there really is no appreciable story. When you're going from place to place not during a mission, the combat is really repetitive (as mentioned above), and when there's no combat, it is at best a walking sim. The missions are slightly better, but not enough so that it actually becomes desirable to play. I'm apparently 1/4 through the game, and I just don't want to play any more. Maybe if I sleep on it.
