Oh yeah that was going down practically the day I joined. I don't even recall seeing the photos, I just recall the minor hoopla right after I joined.

My first post in the Sandbox (posts before that were comic discussion, doesn't count) was to marvel about people who don't know how to use chopsticks. I'm pretty sure I've done that a couple times since too, way to get the ball rolling on me saying the same thing over and over.
And then shortly after that negative creep told me I was going to die because my birthday was Friday the 13th.

Seconded. I remember that thread. I think maybe three or four people defended Phil on it. I'm goin' hunting for it.

When I joined, there was no JHocking and there was no Inlander.
Kiff was still SeanBateman, Chuck still had exclusive domain over GET A BLOG and the dancing lock .gif.
People were exchanging Gmail invites, Jeph was getting his ear operated upon.
