I feel like a numerical scheme for solving ODEs is stable if, given small perturbations in the input values the resulting solution remains bounded near the original solution, that is, similar inputs give similar outputs.

It has recently come to my attention that some readers of forums.questionablecontent.net may have missed the intended purpose of the "Feelings Thread". In an effort to clarify, this thread was started as satirical commentary on the state of forums.questionablecontent.net and the nature of the discussions in the discussion threads therein. it is suggested that people refrain from posting their 'feelings' in this thread a la twitter and should instead reflect upon their feelings silently and contemplate the significance of such feelings to themselves, their friends and relations, this forum, and the greater world around them.
