Honestly, most of the other anime threads I have seen have been dedicated to specific shows, or other types of anime...

and yes this is a very fine line, and Im sorry to say, it appears some didnt accept my side of it...I was just trying to see what ppls fav fighting animes were without trying to go through all 28 pages of threads with god knows how many different posts to see what ppl were liking in this gerne of anime.

I've never been too big into anime, sticking mostly to friends recommendations and whatever the hell came on Toonami and Adult Swim (I know, I know, Funimation bastardizations) but I remember watching Yu Yu Hakusho and enjoying the shit out of it.

Also, you don't have to go through 28 pages of forum threads, there is a search function. That being said I still see your justification in making a new thread, but just be warned that while there are a few anime lovers on these forums, on the whole anime is not a very popular choice for most of the members. And lastly proper grammar, capitalization and correct spelling of words are sure to help you towards winning the hearts of other forumers, leetspeek and internet slang/abbreviations aren't.

Boro_Bandito...Thank you for your input. Other then the one obvious miss spelling I found, I didnt think I had used leetspeak or abbreviations....if I did, wasnt my intent.

Maybe you could let this thread die and allow a bump of the previous recommendations thread.

I'll generally have a more favourable mood towards stuff that doesn't look lazy in terms of pacing or animation or plot. Certain ones that come to mind are Trigun, Ghost in the Shell (most titles), Hellsing and Studio Ghibli films (okay some of them have real shitty pacing but they're still good fun). Most episodes/titles in those franchises don't fuck around with unimportant side-stories. Also, I have an unjustifiable preference for hand-drawn animation.
