I suck at video games

Bastardous Bassist:
Oh God.  Me too.  RPG's are terrible for me.  I always feel like I have to experience all of the content possible on the first play through, because if I play through a second time, most of the stuff is going to be the same and therefore boring.  As a result, I feel that I have to create the perfect player character every time.

Aurjay:
I absolutely hate RPG (yet love WoW) only because of items. I will hold onto some random item throughout the whole damn game until i get tired of seeing it in my bags and then throw it away cuz hey its just a random item im not gonna need it anyway. Just to find out that said item is crucial in the end game and therefore im either screwed or have to backtrack and do it all over again which is still basically being screwed. I love the strategy and levelling my players up, but seriously items piss me off.

Alex C:
I phrased that poorly; missing content doesn't necessarily bother me that much. I'm an odd combo: I don't fear hard games but I will absolutely avoid putting in any more time than I have to in order to get something done. My goal is typically to destroy the game in as short a period of time as I can while avoiding the use of spoilers or guides. (I'd say that Fallout and BG1&2 are the only RPGs I've ever really played to death, come to think of it.) For example, when I played Dragon Quest 8, I knew I didn't want to power level and that I didn't want to fuck around visiting the same cave twice just to get all the way to the bottom. And because I'm a veteran of that series, I figured the best way to do this would be a three pronged approach: 1. Carry a ton of healing items. 2. Abject cowardice; fleeing against nastier groups is totally okay and should be encouraged. 3. No, seriously: carry a ton of healing items. That Bandana you started with only gives one defense point? Fuck that shit; sell it and use the money to buy a god damned medicinal herb! Basically, I'm the polar opposite of those guys who spend an hour or two leveling in FF games just so they can get through dungeons without having to blow any consumables.

Martok:
I'm yet another bloke who's lousy at video games (but still fond of them).  The only games I'm any good at are RPG's and turn-based strategy games; with any other genre, I pretty much suck hind tit.

You know, usually that item would be in the "Key Items" area
