Never going to happen.
Never say never.
Yankees are the Yankees. Rays, Jays and O's have all improved over the winter. What have the Sawx done?
What if they start eating chicken and drinking beer in May?
You, like everyone on ESPN, is buying into the same "oh the Jays and O's bought a few decent players, they'll be AMAZING this year" hype that they do EVERY single year, and the Jays and O's will underperform, like always.
I think we upgraded our closer, and finally have legitimate rotation depth at 4-5. The outfield will be a little shaky, especially with Crawford injured, but I think Sweeney and Ross can step up, and having both Youkilis and Buchholz healthy will be HUGE this season. Aside from right field, the only real question right now is at shortstop. And I think a platoon of Nick Punto and Mike Aviles can cover that until Jose Iglesias is ready to come up.
That Scutaro trade WAS really baffling, though.
The best move the Jays have made was updating their unis. Even if they finish 5th, they're one of the best looking teams in the league, now.
