I've got a microphone but my computer has no idea it even exists. Yeah, co-op is lots of fun but sometimes I just want to stop and sort out my weapons, search the area for loot and explore a bit, but when three people rush ahead there's no time for that. So last night I cleared out the Lost Cave solo, for those spark crystals. Man, that cave fucks you up. At the end there's an area where twelve Alpha Skags come at you in pairs. It was like they never stopped coming. The loot was well worth it, though. Got lots of elemental revolvers, and also an explosive artifact.

And what surprised me is that the vehicles in this game don't actually suck. I like using the mouse for steering, it's not jittery like using the buttons. Sure, the vehicle physics might not be entirely realistic, since the acceleration is impossibly fast, but it doesn't jump all over the place when you hit a rock. It stops, like a regular car would. And driving backwards is also surprisingly easy, contrary to the button controls where you have to turn the wheel in the opposite direction you want to go. I like it a lot. Especially running over lots of skags.

By the way, has anyone gotten the challenge "12 days of Pandora" yet? The challenges are in the missions tab, select them at the top.

KvP:
It seems like they hold off on corrosive damage weapons for a good long while - I'm at level 22 presently and I've only seen it once in a grenade mod. Once I kill two people with acid damage I'll have the achievement.

LTK:
Same here. I did find a corrosive SMG once, but that was lv 25 to use, and I was only 17. It gave me a good buck.

(Wail of agony from people playing soldier)

Now I find out that my tendency to shoot everything in the face is backfiring on me. Then Alpha Skags have got massive armor plating all over their head and back, so my revolver only does 60 damage per shot there. When I can shoot it in the flank, however, that goes up to 300. And I always happen to be reloading at the moment it opens its mouth.

Also, has anyone playing Mordecai put points in Lethal Strike? I've got a bladed revolver and this skill is devastating to everything more than two levels below you. Every skag that's not an Adult or higher, I can cleave in half with 1000+ damage. Great for saving ammo.

öde:
I got it a while ago, I think it was mainly from my corrosive bloodwing.

There are some ways to make the skags roar a lot so you can crit them in the mouth, usually by being far away or finding an area boundary.

I'm a loot-whore too, so I like taking my team and slowly working through a level (although it's not such a big deal anymore because I have regenerative ammo).
