Holy shit I bought a revolver that has only 2 shots to magazine, but it does like 130 damage each shot with 3x corrosive. reload time is super fast too and there is nearly no recoil. Game just got easy.
Also found a shotgun that shot rockets but it was pretty shit compared to my sniper rifle that shoots lightning and my smg that shoots fire.

Wait until you get alien weaponry. Some of it shoots lightning and craps thunder.

Chesire Cat:
I havent seen an Alien weapon that could top any probably 6 guns I have in my inventory.

glyphic:
I found one that does 128X8 damage and has extremely high electric chance.
