Pintsize as Baron Harkonnen...he would enjoy that.

Yeah, but a worse time is when you get one in your throat. Impossible to feel sexy while sounding like a cat trying to cough up a hairball.

The boobs do a well enough job of that.

I started growing boobs at the age of 9. I was in a C-cup at 13. Boobs, especially in my family, aren't much of a sign of adulthood.
YAY Dune!
I think Faye would also make a good Reverend Mother Mohiam sporting a A Gom Jabbar. That would be my costume of choice were I to attend a Dune party. Alas, none of my peeps are fond of Dune.

Who said anything about them not being adults? What the hell does that have to do with anything?

I read the Dune trilogy once. I remember having to wait for the third book to be published. Some of the names are familiar - Baron Harkonnen, Bene Gesserit (some kind of holy order?), the Spice, the stillsuits recycling water on a desert planet, and of course the worms. But damn, I was a teenager back then! A lot of these references are long lost in the fog of time...
Never saw the movie, either - was it worth it? Or should I put the books back into my ever-growing-stack-of-things-I-need-to-read-someday?

--- Quote from: tinkerbell on 07 Oct 2009, 04:15 ---Just to try to stay off the topic of pubic hair and badgers, does anyone else feel like Dora may be going a little too far? All Marten wanted to do was try out a moustache, and then she could make a judgement on whether she thinks he should keep it. It is his face, what if he objected to her going back to blonde? Should she automatically follow what he says?
--- End quote ---
I agree that she may be going to far, but her reaction isn't particularly uncommon. In my experience, most woman in our culture (i.e.: Anglo-American/Canadian) are not fond of men with facial hair. My ex actually once said to me, upon my considering growing a beard, "No. You can't have a beard. Well, maybe when you're an old man, but not now." So, yeah, perhaps "too far," but not uncommon.
