didn't that game have a part in it that was almost completely impossible to beat?

The fucking hoverbike level.
I'd be cruising, have like 10 lives, all my continues, get to the hoverbikes, and IF I had the sequence memorized, and my reflexes were PERFECT, and I didn't get fucked by enemies, I MIGHT have like, 1 life and half health for the next level.
Fucker.

Oh man, BattleToads/Double Dragon must have been scores easier than the original Battletoads...

Games that it looks like I will NEVER finish:
God of War

Really really? I thought it was a pretty easy game in general. The only things that I got stuck on for any amount of time were certain battles involving a whole bunch of bad dudes and/or stuck in a confined space with bad dudes that seemed to keep coming forever. The puzzles were pretty obvious and the boss fights (ESPECIALLY the final boss fight) were almost embarrassingly easy.

Bioshock is not survival horror.
That's like saying Resident Evil 4 is survival horror.
They are atmospheric action games.
There is almost no need to conserve ammo and plenty of way to wipe out enemies without wasting any kind of resource.

I know right! This should be one of the best games to pick up and play for a bit and I SHOULD have beat it a long time ago. Why can't I just pick up this game and play???
WHY!?!?
Shit. Screw this. I am going to finish GoW. Dammit.
Right after I finish Call of Cthulhu.
Bastardous Bassist:
The first part there was need to conserve ammo (and mana), trigger the enemies slowly and always keep your back to a wall. I say if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, then it's a duck. Now, it might not have been a duck after the first bit, in which case I'll finish that up at some point when I have time.
