Me as the Tango Dancing surfer haha. The girl was Carmen San Diego but it got a little to hot for the coat and hat.
We had out halloween tango party yesterday.

Surprisingly, this costume does not interfere with my drinking. One part of the black mesh for the mouth is unattached so I can reach out to grab my drink and bring it underneath. I can be a stealthy drunk sesame street alien then. Also I made it last year so I don't even have to work this year. Another friend is going as Oscar the Grouch, and he'll have Slimey with him. I'm excited!

Mine's really last minute (I thought of it while getting dressed yesterday morning), but I'm Inigo Montoya, barely.

I'm wearing my Inigo Montoya shirt from Think Geek, and I'm gonna carry around my electric foil, and my girlfriend said she was gonna draw in a mustache and beard w/ her eye liner or some makeup thing.

yeah it's lame, but my plan of going as my friend Parth fell through when his mother decided he was going to be going home this weekend, and without him (as me) next to me, it wouldn't be interesting at all.

My girlfriend's going as Abbey from NCIS--dyed her hair black for it, too. hot

Mine is pink too, but the lighting was not so great at that house. The only downside to the costume is that it gets really hot, so I had it off most of the night cuz the bar was packed so I was sweaty, and the party was packed so I had it off. It's actually really easy to make, I think I found an instructible for it last year. The only problem I had was finding the black mesh, I ended up buying a Halloween headband that was like a black veil and tearing that apart.

man this is such a letdown

I haven't given out candy for years because I've lived in apartment buildings so I was kinda looking forward to doing it this year. But because this is still a second floor apartment, not the entire house, it's proving rather difficult for me to greet trick-or-treaters. Mostly I don't even hear people knocking on the door, or if I do hear then by the time I get to the front door they are already gone. Meanwhile, it's pretty awkward if I wait around the front door, because then I'm just standing around in front of my downstairs neighbor's apartment.

I dumped two bags of candy into a basket for giving out, but I've barely given out any of it, this blows.

I ended up going as Andrew WK, pics when my girlfriend can be bothered getting them off the camera.

Nobody picked up on who I was, everybody (in Perth?) sucks. Went to the gay pride parade, went drinking, got a headache, came home, fought with g/f, ate no candy. Fuck Halloween, stupid American bullshit holiday.

yeah...uh I guess it could be said I was not only a surfer but patrick swazye too (r.i.p.) A new girl showed up that has never been to any of the tango practices, ive only been doing this for about a month but the officers of the tango club had me show her how to dance. I showed her the basics and had her dance with a couple of the other guys so she can get more expierence with others. At one point she was just on the side lines (well really just hanging back in a corner watching) and I pulled her out to dance, she said "no im not very good." and I said "no one puts baby in the corner, lets dance." she had a blast. Too bad I didnt get a picture with her. I was flattered that she thought I was the club's tango instructer, she was shocked to find out that ive only been doing this for a month. I had a good time teaching her. Then there was this other girl ive only danced with a couple of times before and today she showed up and was shocked at how good I was. Come to think of it, yeah my halloween was pretty awesome.

monday I get to show the sisters of a latin sorority how to tango.

I had a fucking great halloween. Night one: Took kids out to get milkshakes in full costume, also worked in full costume. Videos to follow soon. Night two: Got drunk at a fetish club and ate cupcakes off of a hot nakedish girl. Hells yes.

I had fun! I got invited to my first Halloween party this year (yes, I am a lameface who never got invited anywhere in high school) and what did we do? Watched a couple movies, ate pizza and fried chicken, and went trick-or-treating. One of my friends was dressed as Santa, and there was a professional Santa living in one of the houses we went to. It was pretty funny.

I don't usually hate halloween, and I quite enjoyed this one until about midnight when my friend starting puking up everywhere (including in the taxi, which cost £90... there goes the rest of this term's food money). It took several hours to get her to bed and the worst of it is that she woke up at 8.30 this morning absolutely fine.

Get to the restaurant for dinner early: check
Nana fell down, dinner delayed by 35 minutes: check
Sit around with family waiting to take a picture for over an hour: check
Go to a party that was terrible and unfun because it was in the middle of nowhere and populated with white trash (also attractive girls but they made no effort to have conversations: check
Sister gets drunk, drive her home: check
Go to a small party a friend is hosting: check
Get bored and decide to return sister's truck, end up hanging out at her place until quarter to six: check

It was an alright halloween.

My Halloween was pretty fun. My friends all dressed like Team Zissou and I dressed like a ghost. At one point I stole one of my friend's red hats and said that I was the ghost of Esteban. There was this dude dressed as James Dean post-car crash who just suddenly started hanging out with us and he wouldn't stop telling me how soft my voice is. Then I was being all charming and witty to an attractive girl who dressed as Joan from Mad Men.

I didn't dress up but I did spend the first half of my evening at the High on Fire/Converge/Mastadon/Dethklok show. I then spent the second half of the evening backstage hanging out in hospitality with the bands and even got a tour of the Dethklok tour bus. Just woke up with a pounding, hangover-esque headache, despite not drinking anything.

All told, a pretty good evening.
