Anyone else watching this?  I'm finishing up episode 13 with Thomas Keller and ... wow.  This is unexpected.

Never heard of this, but I've heard of Keller. Never eaten at any of his restaurants though :P

I wouldn't mind paying the 300 dollars for a meal at The French Laundry if it's as good as it's supposed to be.

If you're ever in NYC there's always Bouchon Bakery which is (relatively) affordable and has a Keller designed menu.  And a nice view.  Simple food though, it ain't no French Laundry or Per Se.

I think this thread doesn't have to die yet! Especially seeing as the latest season just ended. Personally,  Michael was who I wanted least to win. I wanted Kevin to win, but they were all really equal skill-wise, so it's no big deal.

LOTS OF SPOILERS HERE ON IN

I dunno man, I was happy with any of them winning because I thought they all had their own unique approaches and skill sets.  I was also unaccountably sad when Jennifer was eliminated, the affection among the four remaining cheftestants seemed genuine and I don't remember ever seeing that degree of community and mutual support before.  It was heartwarming.  The bookies were apparently predicting Kevin would win, but having read Colicchio's blog, apparently the editing concealed how far behind he was from the Voltaggio brothers.  All the judges said repeatedly that they believed that on any given day, any of the three might have won.
