Laugh.

I have exactly the same problem. It is as if there are supposed to be jokes there somewhere but I just can't find them.

Sometimes I look at Achewood archives while listening to Spoon.

On-topic:
some form of top something:
Soulwax - Nite Versions
65daysofstatic - The Fall of Math
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Low - Things We Lost in the Fire
Flaming Lips - Yoshime Battles the Pink Robots
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer
Broken Social Scene - Broken Social Scene
MONO - Hymn to the Immortal Wind
Dan Deacon - Bromst
Mountain Goats - Sunset Tree
Spiritualized - Songs in A & E
There's probably a bunch I'm forgetting but the above are albums I could put on beginning to end and not get bored fairly consistently.
