Wedding Music

Alright, you people are the biggest music nerds I know.

Give me good wedding music and suggestions for a first dance song. Preferably something in 3/4 time.

Don't be a douchebag.

Oh, oops!

A friend of mine actually built a really nice reception playlist around Sting's baroque album. There was more to it than that, but it was the glue binding the rest of the pieces together.

Edit: VVV   What's creepy is all the couples who DO use "Every Breath You Take" by the Police.

Play that Chris Brown song about how he's not sorry he beat the shit out of Rihanna.

Seriously though, isn't the first dance supposed to be, like, just the bride and groom? Play something that has special significance to you.

If there isn't such a song, then "Sex Bomb" will do.

One of my cousins had an all-Danzig wedding and gave out a Danzig mix CD to all the guests. I'm proud to say I'm not kidding at all. I've still got that CD somewhere.

Vevo blocks Rick Astley!

Maybe there's some good in it after all.

This is total FWIW stuff, but my wife walked down the aisle to Lamb's Angelica.

I recently DJ'd for my sister's wedding and for the first dance I dropped Al Green's "Let's Stay Together". It was a hit beyond anything I could have expected.
