Presumably either Dora has a [heretofore unmentioned] roommate that could switch places with Marten, or since Dora was paying all of her own rent before she could pay half of Faye's until she finds a new roommate.

See thats the thing here, her wanting Marten to move in with her is fine. But Faye will have major problems with this on social and financial levels. Dora should know this, and maybe she does, but she should have started this conversation in a far more serious tone if that is the case.

Or talked with Faye about it before Marten.

Prediction: Marten will move in with Dora because else she devours him, Marigold will throw out Angus because he's an INSENSITIVE JERK! and then he will move in with Faye. Cue the UST.

I figured it was more that she didnt want to move her stuff than wanting Marten for herself
