I disagree. The number of people to die young from drug use is ridiculous and I'm so sick of being pissed off at artists for essentially killing themselves. It sucks to be in mourning of someone yet also pissed off at someone.

I don't see how it's something to be angry at a musician over if they OD. It's just as sad no matter how someone dies, and someone who ODs hasn't done anything to you. Taking personal offense or getting pissed off is just a waste of energy.

Well apparently his death is being investigated as a Homicide so I don't think we have to worry that his death may have been overdose related...although I guess it's technically possibly to kill someone by making them OD or poisoning them or something.

Anyways, this still sucks, also kind of eerie that the last thing it seems he recorded was a Nirvana cover.

There were no weapons involved or we would know that and I can only assume that the coroner did not find reason to do a toxicology report or it would be reported.

it's a pretty big assumption to make that there hasn't been, or isn't going to be, an autopsy/toxicology. when someone just "dies in their sleep" at 29 people generally try and find out why.

i think it's just not been long enough for information to be released. i mean, they haven't even said who called the police and why yet.

The information came from Fox, and their article's now gone. I'm guessing they made presumptions based on what this article mentions, that they're investigating his death which is perfectly normal when someone unexpectedly dies without a very obvious reason.

a suicide is obvious is you blow your brains out and leave a note.

if you overdose or take too much valium and drink a lot of alcohol and therefore "die in your sleep", not so much.
