One of the department heads at ANU is called Mr. Cockburn.
Thank god I didn't end up going there, I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face.

That's actually a relatively common name, Scottish I think. There's a presenter on British TV called Hermione Cockburn. Pronounced "Coburn" though.

That's Andrew Cockburn. He's a pretty cool guy, he was head of Bio (or at least Botany & Zoology) when I was there in the early two-thousands. I had him for a few classes and did a little bit of field work with him.

All I want to do is sleep more :( But I have to do some admin stuff, read some more for my supervision, go to the supervision, go back to the goddamn theatre to clean up some, then I'm going to a church group with a girl from hockey. I just want to sleeeeeep.
On the plus side tomorrow I don't have to be up until 11 (although I have a supervision at three which I haven't even begun preparing for).
I can't wait until I am finally done with this play and its related tasks.

I just dropped Science Fiction Literature because I didn't like it at all. I feel really good about this.
On the subject of names, in elementary school I sat next to a kid whose name was Miuran, pronounced "my-urine". Also when I worked for the power company I sent a few disconnection notices to a man who legally changed his name to Elvis Presley.
