What I want to happen: sleep a few hours, wake up, do things.
What will probably happen: sleep until 530pm, feed dog, go back to sleep until 930pm

I took a science fiction literature course in college. SF is surprisingly boring when you take it too seriously.
Slick:
My sci-fi prof last term was not quite thirty and just needed to defend his Ph.D and then he would be a doctor. It was an enjoyable course and I liked the look through the history and origins of sci-fi.
Mileage varies, so I hear.
Christophe:
Man I loved my Science Fiction lit class in high school. Best fucking class I took there.

--- Quote from: pilsner on 08 Feb 2010, 01:11 ---Of course, if you believe that something is very alcoholic, you can become psychosomatically drunk, hence the old sitcom gag of telling people that the non-alcoholic punch is alcoholic and the next thing you know your younger brother is wearing your lampshade as a hat, and your friend threw your cat out the window.

Not to mention the fact that the same alcohol you were drinking can have more or less effect on you depending on a lot of different factors. It's all about what you ate and when. What you did with your day, how much exercise you got. How much sleep you had the night before. If you took any kinds of medication or supplements. There's a whole bunch of things which effect your alcohol tolerance. That's why I am very reluctant to drive if I've had even one drink. Someone of my weight can be caught out so easily.
