I have a job interview at a consultancy firm on Thursday, and it is my first job interview ever. I'm ridiculously shy normally, so this is scary stuff :/ I'm also a bit worried that they will ask about my relatively average/not-stellar grades (I have a few As and Bs, a few Ds and Es, but mostly Cs), and I don't know what to say, because the reason is that I haven't really been motivated to work a lot of the time and I have – from doing well without much effort in school earlier – pretty bad study habits :/ Not what I should say in a job interview, I guess. But it's not like I'm really lazy, I do what is required of me and when we have projects and things like that, I work hard and do reasonably well. I don't know what to say if I get questions about it :/ The thing I'm studying is pretty hard, too, so superb grades are probably not very common, but I don't know whether mine are below "good enough" or not.
I guess I should spend tomorrow thinking about answers to some common job interview questions and, if nothing else, at least it'll give me experience with a job interview? :/ But I need a relevant summer job, damnit, because they won't let me start writing my master thesis next spring if I don't have 6 weeks of relevant work experience. Jesus, I sort of want to start uni all over again, I don't feel like I am ready for any of this.
