in stark contrast to Zingo's post, I moved back in with my parents on the weekend and I am already going slightly crazy. Also, surprise surprise I have way more clothes than I should and even after throwing away what feels like everything, I can still barely close my bag. My bag that is gigantic. And still doesn't have all of my clothes in there. F'n heck. So yeah that was the cause of a pretty major panic attack for me.

On the plus side, I went to the "A Day in Pompeii" exhibit on Sunday and it was so awesome and I totally geeked out over all of the coins and the inscriptions and the graffiti and the statues etc. Also I bought a keyring with a coin and the coin has a picture of Claudius (I <3 Uncle Claudius) on it which I've now attached to my bag. But then I went and tried on a bunch of coats including this one

and was sad because it costs $400 but oh my god it is perfect and remember that thing I side about having less than no room in my bag already?

I am making cupcakes and they are already beautiful! And they have sprinkles inside so they are all fireworky in inside, and they are gonna have raspberries on top because they are delicious, and they are all made from scratch and so will the frosting be as well, and I am excited and singing Jason Webley to them because it is the best!!!

I am so fucking pissed off - I have busted my ass organising this treasure hunt as a "fundraiser" for our Edinburgh play (I have spent far more on it than we're likely to raise) and no one, not even my assistant stage manager, has got back to me about helping out running the goddamn thing. I cannot spend nine hours in town today, I have a job interview this afternoon for a start, and in any case I need at least two people there because one person needs to stay inside selling maps and the other needs to publicise in town.

Where the fuck is everyone and why are they all ignoring my emails, texts and calls? This sodding thing has taken me weeks to get ready and I'm damned if I'm going to cancel it but I cannot run it on my own! I was at a ball last night and I left four hours early to get some sleep so I could be up in time to do this, and I'm at another one tonight which I'm going to be late to because I'll have to stay in town to finish the stupid thing, and I am going to be exhausted at my job interview on Wednesday because the fuckers chose a date that didn't suit me and are now NOT HELPING IN ANY WAY.

Man I am so furious right now, it is 7.45am and I should be asleep for the next five hours at least but instead I am printing dozens of maps onto parchment and spitting feathers.

I was expecting to get money back but by virtue of earning slightly too much this year I have to start paying back my HECS fees. (HECS is where the government pays your university course fees and you pay it back as tax, as long as you are earning a certain amount, around $40k per annum). I sure as hell cannot afford this shit so I believe I will just skip the country and deal with it when I get back. Really.
