Like er, Black Kronstadt, Ewig Frost, Narsyn, not so much bands that have stuff up on youtube. Search for 'RABM' on youtube and you might find something. Panopticon is probably the best known.
Also like, it's worth noting that 98% of black metal is completely a-political (unless you count anti-religious sentiment as politics), and plenty of much more well known bands from the black and viking scene have made public statements saying they don't support fascism, racism, etc. or at the very least that their music should not be read politically, way more than have written songs about it. I wouldn't particularly expect a band like Summoning, who released this statement to write a song against NSBM, because all their other songs are about Lord of the Rings and it would be pretty bizarre.

I wasn't meaning to pick on the BM bands, they get beaten with the NSBM stick even more than edge bands do with the self-righteous edger one, it just seemed to fit since you brought them up anyway.
But really edge bands aren't that bad and frequently spend a lot less time singing about the edge in any way than people usually make out they do. Plus I do rather like just how pissed off they manage to make people by their very existence when really it's not that big a deal. It always reminds me of the meat eaters who'll lose their shit when they find out somebody's vegan and make it into a big deal, getting all defensive (usually with rubbish arguments) when all the person did was turn down a cheese sandwich.
Hey, this Black Kronstadt stuff's pretty great. But after listening to them I know I'm going to spend ages trying to remember the name of this one blackened crust band from the UK who're active at the moment that's really good but I've gone and forgotten what they're called.

I don't really care about the issue that much. I don't remember making this thread. That said, I could easily counter that I love that people get pissed off when I call straight-edgers out for being violent and oppressive, which is certainly 90% of what I've personally seen and heard of straight-edgers (and that's not taking into account Hardline which I hope you dislike as well). I used to have some straight edge friends (who thankfully grew up and 'broke their edge') and the stuff I heard from them was all generic hardcore about fighting at shows and how awesome they were for being straight-edge.
I could also say that I love it when vegans get pissed off when I call them out on trying to justify their personal choice with ridiculous, un-scientific, ill-informed arguments.
