Faye has a point, though.  Original is exciting, any copy work is immediately boring.  Most true art is one-offs!

With Raven's hours cut way back, if Faye leaves for an artistic career then Dora will need to hire another character.

Yeaaahhhhh, gotta side with Faye on this one. After all, the part that she enjoys isn't the simple fitting of metal pieces together (or else she may as well have gone into trade metalworking), but the creative and inventive aspect of sculpting.  Take the creativity out of it so that all that's left is rote copy-work, and it may as well be any other menial job.
