Meanwhile, Jeph is sitting back and laughing.
At least, when he's not cussing out his new edition of Photoshop.
Border Reiver:
'Course Jeph's laughing - at us for prepping the ship to sail.
That ship ain't never had a keel laid down, and shouldn't.
LeeC:
Honestly, although sven can be an asshole in the past, I dont think he did anything to deserve Dora's threats in this scenario. I kind of blame Faye from a couple of strips back for putting a romantic/creepy spin on what happened.
sudamerican:
oh god pun overload aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

I think I'm with you on this one, LeeC. Dora seems to be going way more overboard than necessary, and it's probably because of Faye and her own insecurities about Sven and her friends. (I can just see the wheels in her head going, "oh NO, not AGAIN". But I think if she's not careful she's going to alienate Sven (though I am surprised Sven hasn't done that to her!)
Also...wow Faye and Dora. I know Marigold is a totally socially inept person, but she's never gonna learn how to interact if you don't let her. She's embarrassed? Well, have her face Sven and give him the book and apologize, don't turn it into this horrible awful thing - that's probably only gonna make it worse.
