Man I had never realised Australia was big. In my head it was slightly larger than Britain, but not much. What is wrong with mapmakers?!


Oh, ok, actually, looking at a map it does look a lot bigger than Britain. I think I was thinking of Singapore.


I just tried to find Singapore and I can't. What is wrong with my geography?

Singapore isn't a continent.

Singapore's probably about the same size as London.

It's at the very southeast tip of Malaysia. Not separated by very much water at all. I would have posted that my last post but I really wasn't that sure exactly where to find it in any more detail than "South East Asia!" and I had to look it up.

There's also an island who's name I don't think I've ever known around there that probably is about the size of England.
