I prefer "This is when it comes out if you want to buy it," over either scenario. Basically, I don't like people trying to sell me on things and the more elaborate it gets the less interested I am. Marketing really falls under two categories: things that make me aware of something I might desire and stuff that ultimately is a waste of my time.
