Freeman: June 14th
Damnable Fiend:
except for the parts where you have to push cars into holes to stop the waves of ant-lions, I quite liked episode 1. It did a good job of making me actually feel like I had to hurry because oh my god this city is going to blow, even though obviously I had all the time I could want to get out of there. Also the parts in the citadel at the start and the very ending on the train were some of the best moments in any of the Half Life games.
Buttfranklin:
Really? I loved putting those cars on top of those holes. Maybe you just suck with the gravity gun, Nick. :{P
All said and done, I'm kind of crossing my fingers that there won't be any Antlions in Ep. 3. Yes, I loved storming prison with them, and fighting their queens, and pluggin up their holes, and then fighting their queen again, and then going into their tunnels and running from their queen, and then fighting them off in an awesome battle with vortigaunts (which is 10x more fun on hard mode, btw), and then fighting two queens, but I'm getting rather bored of them. More Hunters, please!!

--- Quote from: Emaline on 07 Jun 2010, 13:42 ---Yeah, they are giving us puzzles and we have to solve them in order to be advertised to, but isn't that a lot more fun and interesting than some company just saying "btws the game comes out on this date and is this much. You played the first ones so you know how to play this one. Just go preorder it already, we'll give you some shit maybe."?

Nah.
Damnable Fiend:
I like boring advertisements. why companies got to fuck with the program.
snalin:
Gotta agree with Emaline, I vastly prefer the stuff they did with portal to "woo, preorder and you get stuff that makes the game easier!". If they want me to get exited about a game, they'd better make the marketing exiting.
