"you like paramore" well you feel it's your place to defend these tone-deaf self-important baby boomer shitstains by trying to impugn the credibility of the dude who straight up says "this shit sucks" as if listening to a pop-rock band on an independent label that has nevertheless seen top 40 success somehow disqualifies someone from listening to a bunch of indulgent masturbatory "tonal explorations" or whatever and like instantly seeing through it for the absolutely irredeemable garbage for idiot babies with fucking goatees and fedoras who use the phrase "hmm yes" that it actually is. this music is for dudes who still don't see the problem with wearing embroidered flame-design button-ups but just stopped wearing them because everyone else did. this is music for fucking die-hard john zorn fans, i.e. dudes mostly or totally lacking in social graces. i honestly don't understand what the compulsion is to defend these rich people who can get away with not bothering to do anything interesting on account of their names once meant "cool," other than it belies some kind of desperately craved iconoclasm.
