If you like DJ Shadow, you are basically guaranteed to like DJ Krush, DJ Frane, and DJ Cam.  Basically the 4 of them form the essential quaternity of the genre as far as I'm concerned.

The Herbaliser Band is an actual band that plays stuff that sounds sufficiently similar to DJ Shadow that they are probably also worth your time.  (The Herbaliser is a related project that doesn't use live instrumentation.)

DJ Wally is weird, but you'll probably like him too.

You just insulted me, and the memory of Nujabes by excluding him. :(

DJ Shadow and Krush are crazy good, but they're yet to reach my like everything that Jun Seba has done.

R.I.P.

Actually, the Herbaliser is (or used to be, they've meanwhile morphed into something else) a British hip-hop production duo, and the Herbaliser Band ist their touring band playing their instrumentals. Both their albums (Session 1 and Session 2) are great, though I slightly prefer the first. I also don't think they're very similar to DJ Shadow, the original Herbaliser recordings (first 3-4 albums) much more so.

And to the OP: check out UNKLE's Psyence Fiction. Shadow was part of the group then, and one can hear it.

Vuk:
Word on the UNKLE album. I'd check out Quannam - that's a hip hop collective Shadow is involved in - Preemptive Strike, The Private Press, and the DJ Shadow live album, In Tune and On Time. Nothing really compares to Endtroducing, but In Tune and On Time is probably my favourite after that, cause he mixes stuff from UNKLE, Quannam, and tons of other stuff he's done.

Harun:
funny I saw this thread, I have been listening to Paper Tiger's 'Made Like Us' album (which came out a couple days ago) for several days straight now. He is the closest thing to Entroducing-era DJ Shadow incarnate that I have ever heard. He also has an EP 'False Hopes' that is very solid as well. there might be something in the mfi!re thread in a bit...
