My pants get holes their too, pretty sure it's because my thighs rub together when I walk and the pants just wear out. Oh well.
David_Dovey:
Oh yeah that's probably it. Depressing.

Yeah, that happens to mine as well, well before button issues (and it's annoying as hell – I just lost my favorite pair of jeans due to it). But I just think I look less "stuffed" when the pull is divided between two buttons and the pants look better in the front with it anyways, so I like it.

It's okay Dovey, we are just cuddly individuals. That is all!
Slick:
I always get that crotch-rip because I wear pretty much exclusively used dress pants and hop onto high bike seats several times a day every day.
