Isn't this a fairly common thing? I've had lots of clothes with this "setup", I kinda like it. Less pull on the one button. And one button faces in because it would look kinda silly with two buttons out, I guess.

My "fancy pants" are like that.  I haven't had a problem with it.

I put my belt on the other direction yesterday 'just to try something new' (wow wild). It's surprisingly hard to unbuckle and re-buckle.
